PreCheck is heavily reliant upon strong and consistent telecommunications resources to provide their national customers with swift and on-time services. In recent years, with the higher levels of significant hurricane activity in the Gulf region, they looked to developing an alternate location to avoid service disruption. Seeking to create a redundant back-up system to their Houston, Texas based operations, they identified several possible sites. They looked to southern New Mexico primarily because of the safer and superb climatology and quiet seismological geology. In addition, they found a highly skilled workforce, lower taxes, strong pro-business environment, and attractive local and state incentives, making Alamogordo, New Mexico their most logical choice. Expanding into New Mexico was the right choice for PreCheck, and in 2009, PreCheck elected to further its expansion efforts by relocating its corporate headquarters in Alamogordo, and currently employs over 80 jobs with more projected in the near future.
