New Mexico's location provides easy access to the Southwest from Texas to California.  Truckers find the southern part of New Mexico with its ease of access to Interstate 10 a pleasant route year-round with dry weather the rule 300+ days every year.  Alamogordo, located on U.S. Highways 54 & 70, is 65 miles from I-25 and 70 miles from I-10.  Hwy 54 has been widened to a four-lane highway which greatly facilitates transportation between Alamogordo and the El Paso / Juarez metroplex.

MAG's total fleet of 187 aircraft performs more than 1200 departures to 173 cities in 46 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, the Bahamas and Mexico, and was named ATW 2005 Regional Airline of the Year.

This bus service is open to the public!  Monday through Friday the wheelchair accessible bus traverses the city five times, starting at 6:30 am and ending at 6:30 pm.  The cost is just $1 per one-way trip.  Riders need exact change or a ticket, the bus driver cannot make change.  Tickets can be purchased at Zia Therapy Center, 900 First Street, M-F 6:30-6:00 and at Zia Thrift Shop, 816  E. 9th Street, M-Sat, 9-5.
